ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Internal Financial Reporting Analyst will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the company’s internal financial reports. This position involves extensive collaboration with various departments to gather and validate financial data, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and PCAOB standards. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for preparing detailed financial analyses, supporting the external reporting team, and assisting in the development and maintenance of internal controls over financial reporting.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual internal financial reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness in accordance with US GAAP and PCAOB standards.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial reporting complies with US GAAP, PCAOB standards, and internal policies.
- Consolidation: Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and related disclosures, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
- Analysis: Analyze financial results to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Guidance: Provide guidance on the adoption and implementation of new accounting standards and regulatory changes, particularly those related to PCAOB standards.
- Baseline data for External reporting: Providing baseline data from the consolidation system in financial statement format to the external reporting team. Support the external reporting team in preparing SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K) and other regulatory requirements.
- Internal Controls: Develop and maintain robust internal controls over financial reporting, working in conjunction with the internal controls team to ensure compliance with PCAOB standards.
- System Development: Participate in the development and implementation of financial reporting systems and processes, ensuring they meet the organization’s needs and comply with PCAOB
standards.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Additional Education Preferred: Master’s Degree
Field of Study Preferred: Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Required Work Experience:
- CPA certification preferred, with experience in a Big 4 accounting firm highly desirable.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in financial reporting, consolidation, or a related field.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of US GAAP, PCAOB standards, internal financial reporting standards, and experience with SEC reporting requirements.
Required Computer and Software Skills: Microsoft Office Suite
Travel Requirements: 20%

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in financial consolidation software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
