ABOUT THE ROLE
Geocycle has an immediate opening for 1 Class A CDL driver. Geocycle is a leading provider of waste management services worldwide. Born of the pioneering activities of our parent Holcim in the area of co-processing in the 1970s and 1980s, Geocycle today is a trusted brand under the umbrella of the world's largest cement manufacturer. Geocycle services over 10,000 customers, industrial and service companies, municipalities, the agricultural sector, and waste management firms, in more than 50 countries worldwide.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Duties include the operation of single and tandem axle tractor-trailer combinations requiring a Class A CDL with Doubles Endorsement.  Successful candidates are expected to work and drive safely and to provide a high level of customer service.

  • Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
  • Assert manual labor and lifting of waste tires from customer locations
  • Possesses proven customer service and organizational skills,
  • Able to work a flexible schedule
  • Keeps accurate DOT logs and load sheets
  • Perform preventative and minor maintenance to stationary and/or mobile equipment. 

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR     

  • Required Education: High School diploma/GED
  • Required Work Experience: 3-5 years of experience preferred
  • Licenses Preferred: Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License with a doubles endorsement, and an excellent driving record is required.
  • Required Computer and Software Skills: Experience with basic computer applications.
