ABOUT THE ROLE
To provide support in managing insurance policies, practices and compliance & reporting in order to efficiently manage and minimize the cost of premiums and fees. Collaborate with others to ensure completeness and accuracy of data.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
- Assist with management of various corporate insurance programs.
- Review and analyze risk data, including policies and risk reports.
- Assist in risk financial planning activities.
- Review and analyze risk and financial data to identify potential risks/opportunities.
- Maintain a risk department calendar.
- Support collection of underwriting data.
- Support open items report with brokers to ensure compliance and to minimize financial impact.
- Coordinate with the risk accounting transaction team to complete account reconciliation, quarterly and year end true up activities.
- Process premium and fee payments.
- Manage Certificate of Insurance and vendor compliance process.
- Maintain Risk Management procedures manual.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Education: Bachelor's degree or 4 years of equivalent experience
Field of Study Preferred: Risk/Insurance Management, Law, Finance or related field
Required Work Experience: 4 years of relevant work experience
Preferred Training/Certifications: Associate in Risk Management Designation (ARM), Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS), Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP)
Required Computer and Software Skills: Advanced Microsoft Office, SAP
Travel Requirements: 10%

- Strong financial and analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication both written and verbal
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
