Description: 

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Construction Coordinator assists Operations Manager and Project Managers in the administration of project safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, proposals, estimates, documentation, client interface, and field-based activities. Tracks and manages the daily activities of manpower and equipment to ensure efficient operations, accurate labor timekeeping and control of operational costs. This position will require strong problems solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects and quickly adapt to shifting priorities.

 

WHAT YOU' LL BE DOING

  • Collect and analyze information used to plan and schedule construction projects.
  • Track and analyze operational costs, monitor budget and provide detailed reports.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and other project-related materials
  • Daily/weekly timekeeping submission and quick resolution of payroll issues
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure project success.
  • Reporting on progress and challenges.
  • Retains plans and specifications on projects from start to completion; reviews plans for completeness and accuracy.


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Education: Bachelor degree 
Field of Study Preferred: Project management, Business Administration
Required Work Experience: 2-5 years

  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors. Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved
  • Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator sealmeets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
