Description: 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Co-develop, execute project plan, understand project specs, billing and project scheduling with the project manager
  • Leads people, manage work and manage projects.
  • Monitors cost control, quality, and productivity.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all workers supporting the project have been properly trained on the Company Health & Safety Standards and that they adhere to the requirements at all times.
  • Ensures compliance with all environmental, compliance and human resources policies.
  • Works closely with Operations Manager

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Education: Bachelor degree or 5 years of equivalent experience
Required Work Experience:Skilled in running all aspects of civil and heavy highway construction Knowledgeable of Agencies specifications, plans, billing and project schedule
Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel

Bilingual –English /Spanish
Additional Requirements:

  • Practicable knowledge of all aspects of asphalt construction operations
  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize own workload, and other tasks.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved
  • Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicablelaw, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator sealmeets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
