Role overview
The Data Analytics Senior Auditor is a critical role within Holcim’s Group Internal Audit function, designed to bridge the gap between traditional risk assurance and modern data science. This position is responsible for executing high-impact audit and advisory engagements through advanced data analytics while maintaining and enhancing our centralized analytics platform to drive operational efficiency across the global function.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Audit Execution & Strategic Advisory

Analytics-Driven Auditing: Lead and execute audit engagements across global Operating Countries, Shared Service Centers, and Corporate Functions, integrating data analytics throughout the entire audit lifecycle (planning, execution, and reporting).

Continuous Auditing: Develop and implement automated testing and continuous auditing scripts to shift the function toward proactive risk management.

Knowledge Leadership: Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) by coaching the wider audit team on analytics methodologies and translating complex business requirements into technical visual outputs.
2. Platform Management & Innovation

Platform Enhancement: Maintain and optimize the centralized audit analytics platform, ensuring it remains a robust tool for the global audit community.

Data Engineering: Design and manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines to ensure data integrity and accessibility for audit purposes.

Visualization: Create sophisticated dashboards and reports using Qlik Sense or Tableau to provide senior leadership with actionable insights.
Professional Requirements & Must-Haves:
1. Experience & Education

Professional Background: 3 to 5 years of professional experience in Data Analytics, IT Audit, or an equivalent quantitative field. Experience within a "Big 4" or a large multinational corporate environment is highly preferred.

Education: University degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or Finance with a strong focus on quantitative analysis.
2. Technical Proficiencies

Programming & Databases: Advanced proficiency in SQL is mandatory. Working knowledge of Python or R for data manipulation and statistical analysis is required.

Data Visualization: Proven experience in designing business intelligence solutions using Qlik Sense or Tableau.

Audit Methodology: Solid understanding of data quality, internal controls, and reconciliation concepts within an audit or risk framework.

ERP Knowledge (Advantageous): Familiarity with large ERP datasets, specifically SAP ECC or S/4HANA, is considered a significant plus.
Languages & Mobility:

Communication: Fluency in spoken and written English is essential for this global role. Proficiency in French, Spanish, or German is a distinct advantage.

Mobility: This position requires a global mindset and the ability to travel internationally up to 50% of the time (approximately 18–23 weeks annually).
