Role Overview

 

The Commercial Analytics Manager is a strategic role focused on solving the core data challenges that create a data roadblocks for our commercial team. Sitting at the nexus of Commercial, Industrial, Finance, and Sustainability data, the role's mission is to connect diverse data sources into a single, reliable hub and create self-service tools. The ultimate goal is to move the team away from "chasing numbers" and toward spending time on strategy and execution, acting as a powerful multiplier that ensures all decision-making across the countries is fast, clear, and based on one trusted set of numbers.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Establish a centralized data infrastructure by connecting and integrating diverse data sources (Commercial, Industrial, Finance, Pricing, CO₂, etc.) into one reliable system.

  • Design and build simple, effective data visualizations, dashboards, and self-service tools that provide clear, reliable answers for business users.

  • Develop the core planning tool for Product Portfolio Reviews, ensuring all necessary financial, product, and sustainability numbers are instantly available and trusted.

  • Analyze complex, connected data (e.g., CO₂ impact, product mix, costs, margins) to uncover the strategic narrative and provide a solid, data-backed foundation for strategic plans.

  • Collaborate effectively with country teams and functional experts to clear data bottlenecks and ensure data quality, while carefully respecting functional boundaries (e.g., avoiding overlap with the Pricing team).

  • Lead the development of new data tools and systems, managing internal IT and external vendor pilots to continuously multiply the team's capabilities.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

 

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a business analytics, commercial analysis, or data integration role.

  • Relevant degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Business, Economics, or Engineering) is preferred.

  • Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and building scalable, self-service data solutions.

  • Possesses a Strategic & Enabling Mindset - focused on fixing root data problems and building scalable systems (data multipliers) over simply fulfilling ad-hoc reporting requests.

  • Fluency in English is mandatory; Spanish proficiency is a significant advantage.
