Role overview
The ICT Support Engineer (Network SME) is a dual-focus role based in Zug, Switzerland. You will act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Cisco Meraki network infrastructure across 13 Corporate and Trading sites. Simultaneously, you will be a key member of the Digital Workplace Experience team, providing high-touch IT support to headquarter users and VIPs, ensuring a seamless end-to-end technology experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Design & Operations (Primary Focus)

Design, deploy, install, and operate network and security solutions for 13 global sites.

Lead the configuration and maintenance of Cisco Meraki SD-WAN, switches, and access points.

Maintain technical manuals/knowledge base articles and perform "technology watches" to keep the network stack modern and efficient.

Digital Workplace & VIP Support (Secondary Focus)

Diagnose and resolve hardware/software incidents via ServiceNow, adhering to strict SLAs.

Provide "white-glove" technical assistance to executives and during high-profile corporate events.

Support the deployment and maintenance of Windows 11 notebooks, Google Workspace tools, and Edge server infrastructure.

Partner with global IT support groups and third-party vendors to resolve complex cross-domain issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience deploying and supporting Cisco networking, Meraki with Auto-VPN and SD-WAN in a multi-site environment (Mandatory). Knowledge of related API automations is an advantage.
- Education: Completed Informatikerlehre (EFZ) with further education such as Techniker HF or Bachelor in Computer Science/Informatics.
- Technical Skills: Expert-level command of Cisco Meraki full-stack networking and ISE authentication, complemented by hands-on experience managing Nutanix HCI, AWS, and Windows 11 digital workplaces within a ServiceNow-driven ITSM environment.
- Behavioral Competencies: A service-driven approach that balances analytical problem-solving with the diplomacy required for high-touch VIP support, ensuring a customer-centric experience through proactive troubleshooting and collaborative team escalation.
- Languages: Proficient in English (written and spoken), proficiency in French and German is a strong advantage.
