Role Overview

At Holcim, we are on a mission to build progress for people and the planet. As the International Mobility Manager, you will play a vital role in this journey by ensuring our people are empowered to make an impact wherever they are needed most. Based at our headquarters in Zug, you will actively support the operational setup and execution of our newly established Global Employment Company (GEC) in Switzerland, working under the direction of the Group Head of International Mobility. This role offers an exciting blend of build and operation: you will help translate strategic GEC framework designs into smooth, day-to-day operational processes, while managing complex international assignment lifecycles.

Responsibilities

  • GEC Setup Support: Support the Head of International Mobility in operationalizing the new Zug GEC, assisting with the rollout of assignment workflows, administrative governance, and functional handoffs.

  • Assignment Lifecycle Management: Oversee the full international assignment lifecycle, acting as a primary operational contact for assignees and Corporate/Country People Partners - partnering closely with Talent Management to support seamless repatriation, career continuation, and succession pipeline integration.

  • Compliance Execution: Coordinate with external tax, immigration, and legal advisors to execute compliance requirements, leveraging Swiss posting frameworks and A1 protocols for assigned pools.

  • Compensation & Payroll Cycles: Support the annual compensation cycle for international assignees, coordinating salary reviews, shadow payroll data delivery, and balance sheet recalculations (COLA, hypothetical tax, etc.).

  • Vendor Delivery: Maintain day-to-day operational relationships with external vendors (tax, immigration, relocation), monitoring service levels, invoice processing, and operational quality.

  • Policy Guidelines & Documentation: Assist in drafting operational guidelines, standard operational procedures, and employee communications that reflect updated mobility policies and GEC framework updates.
