ABOUT THE ROLE
The Concrete Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of concrete to various job sites in and around the Windsor area. This role is crucial to ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining efficient operations. Key deliverables include on-time delivery, safe operation of the delivery truck, and excellent customer service. This is a Union position with benefits and a pension.
WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH
- Safely and efficiently operate a concrete delivery truck to transport concrete to job sites.
- Ensure timely delivery of concrete to customers, adhering to delivery schedules.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor on job sites.
- Accurately complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery truck.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the truck and perform minor maintenance as needed.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members.
- Accurately document delivery information and obtain necessary signatures.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Valid AZ or DZ license.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with concrete delivery experience.
- Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to regulations.
- Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret delivery instructions and maps.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform the demands of the job, including occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Good vision, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
Additional Requirements:
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
