ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Lafarge Aggregates operations in Central Alberta are looking for Labourers to join our team to carry out scheduled ground maintenance work and operate a skid steer, ideally.
These opportunities are for our Central Alberta Aggregates operations.
WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH
• Perform several types of manual work
• Handle materials, tools, and equipment
• Operate automotive vehicles when required
• Shovel spillage around conveyors
• Ensure the safety of company personnel, the community, and environment
• Seek out and implement Best Practices
• Create an atmosphere of teamwork and ensure the development of personnel and arbitrate to resolve conflicts
• Identify and communicate product problems and information
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

Travel Requirements: in and around Central Alberta
Additional Requirements:
● Skid-steer experience is an asset
● Capable of working in an outdoor environment
● Has good communication skills, able to work well with others
● Can work independently and unsupervised
● Must be capable of heavy lifting, bending and twisting
● Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
