Position Summary
The Operations Support Role is responsible for the support of several operational functions and performance for the quarries and gravel pits in the region. They will be exposed to a variety of projects around the sites including (but not limited to): front end support (scaling of trucks), site cleanup/painting, technical projects, administration, and data analysis. A good overall performance could lead to larger technical roles in subsequent years.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

Relationships with Others Functions:

  • Reports to the Plant Managers, Operations Managers and Operations Coordinator
  • Works closely with other Plant staff, Maintenance, Distribution, Quality, and Area Safety Staff

 

 

Qualification Profile

 

Education/Work Experience:

  • Currently enrolled in a College or University program

 

Knowledge &Skills:

  • Good written and verbal communications
  • Demonstrated time management and teamwork skills
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Excel
  • Excellent knowledge of Google Suite applications
  • Possess full G class license and access to a vehicle
  • Bilingual in English and French an asset
