People Partner Lead – Supporting Functions & Commercial 

Job Purpose

 

Act as a people partner for specific departments. Plan and execute people annual plan in line with Country’s strategy and People agenda and in cooperation with the People team in the delivery of core people processes, in terms of performance management, organization development, culture, learning & development, talent management, talent acquisition, employee relations, employee engagement, compensation & benefits, operations optimization (attendance, overtime, etc.) and management systems compliance to achieve better business results, build morale and increase productivity, retention and enhance performance excellence.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  1. Health & Safety:
  • Adhere to and enforce relevant legislation and policies and ensure that highest degree of safety and safe working practices are maintained.

 

  1. Functional:

 

  • Provide responsive, high quality advice supporting managers on all aspects of the human resources function with an emphasis on taking shared responsibility and ownership for decision-making involving people issues
  • Drive, influence, advice and support aspects of business improvement initiatives within the departments in order to improve business efficiency and people management allowing for flexibility and planned growth.
  • In coordination with the Talent Management department, ensure employees write their IDPs, ensure its implementation and manage any inquiries they have concerning their development
  • Coaching/advising & challenging managers in the implementation of robust HR processes (recruitment, promotions, PMS etc.)  and employee relations processes to facilitate shared responsibility for the management of people and ensuring that people matter are effectively dealt with 
  • In line with the Talent Management department, manage the succession planning and competencies assessment of the PL employees through PTA, O&HR with the line managers.
  • Responsible of following up the department restructures, workforce planning with the line managers to ensure the plan is being respected with minimal deviations.
  • Manage the update of Job profiles in order to keep the job profiles updated and ready for survey and recruitment usages.
  • Manage analyzing employees’ performance appraisal in order to link it to their merit increase, bonus pay and development plans.
  • Follow up on the recruitment activities to ensure that vacancies are filled efficiently within the proper time frame with the best-fit candidate.
  • Manage the assigned departments organization charts update on monthly basis.
  • Overview HR policies & procedures and provide advice for necessary changes in the HR policies and procedures to facilitate the business process and make it more efficient.

 

Education, Qualifications & Experience

 

Education:

  • Bachelor Degree in any business related-discipline, business administration, economics, etc.
  • HR Diploma or MBA is a plus

 

Technical Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in the different fields of HR Management.
  • Solid experience in Labor Law & Employee Relations.
  • Fluent in English.
  • General computer literacy.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications and Report Writing.
  • Excellent communications skills & result oriented.
  • 4-6 Years of Experience in various HR functions.
