Procurement Global Sourcing Specialist

Job Purpose

 

  • To support the implementation of global sourcing strategies by identifying and supplying qualified Egyptian goods to Holcim countries, while managing sourcing, procurement, logistics, reporting, and supplier coordination activities to deliver cost-effective solutions, generate savings, and maximize the value of Egyptian sourcing opportunities across the Group.

Key Responsibilities

 

  1-Health & Safety:

Adhere to and enforce relevant legislation and policies and ensure that highest degree of safety and safe working

practices are maintained.

  • Ensure full compliance with Lafarge safety standards and promote safety culture and safe practices among the entire work
  • force.
  • Ensure all BP employees are operating in a safe working environment.
  • Provide monthly reporting and statistics regarding safety performance and incidents.
  • Ensure that all employees and contractors following Health Safety Rules.
  • Conduct VPC and direct other key members in the company to do the same.
  • Identify people with potential to assume broader safety responsibility.
  • Submit the safety figures on monthly basis to the company and discuss areas of improvement.
  • Lead investigations in major safety incidents.
  • Review investigation reports on safety violation incidents and decide on additional actions to be taken.
  • Assume key responsibility for developing H&S improvement plan and relevant action plans.
  • Follow HSIP of the plant and follow the progress.
  • Stopping Unsafe act.
  • Ensure that all employees trained.
  • Attending all safety Meeting
  • Ensure that all employees follow SWI.
  • Achieve Annual Health and safety personal objective.

 

2-Functional:

  • Support procurement activities in line with sourcing strategies, policies and procedures to deliver value and reduce total cost.
  • Assist in analyzing market trends, supplier performance and cost benchmarks.
  • Support the end-to-end sourcing process including Request for Quotation (RFQ) , evaluation, negotiation and contract management.
  •  Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Technical, Logistics, Finance, Sales, Legal) to ensure smooth execution of sourcing requests.
  • Support import & export operations and logistics coordination to ensure on-time delivery to customers.
  • Assist in preparing reports, dashboards and analysis for management decision making.
  • Support risk management for supply contracts and agreements.
  • Maintain accurate supplier and pricing database and ensure data integrity in SAP systems.
  • Help identify new suppliers and alternatives to strengthen the supply base.
  • Support sales & marketing initiatives and the definition of margins for items to be sold to Holcim countries.
  • Collaborate with the team on continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Education

 

 

 

 

Qualifications & Experience

     Education:

  • Bachelor’s of Engineering

 

Technical Skills:

  • ERP systems, Excel, reporting tools developer, advance communication skills, advanced negotiation skills, good
  • management skills

 

    Experience:

  • 2-4 years in a technically related job preferably to be as procurement.
