Senior R2R Accountant

Job Purpose

Key Responsibiliti es

  1.  Health & Safety:
    • Adhere to and enforce relevant legislation and policies and ensure that the highest degree of safety and safe working practices are maintained.

 

  1.  Functional:

Payroll general accounting related process:

 

    • Review Salaries breakdown from H.R
    • Review payroll entry
    • Upload payroll sheet received from HR
    • Book manual payroll entry and salaries adjustments
    • Record Payment of bank transfer letters
    • Record end of service entries
    • Review salaries deduction
    • Recording bonus accrual
    • Review & recording saving fund
    • Review & recording vacation compensation accrual
    • Review, calculate & recording bonus payment _ Reverse
    • Review, calculate & recording payroll annual increase _ Reverse
    • Review, calculate & salary adjust _ Reverse
    • Salary Reports (Cost/Month) & Cost Elements
    • Perform monthly salary reconciliation for balance sheet accounts Other general accounting activities:
    • Perform prepaid amounts amortization for some Egypt entities
    • Perform prepaid accounts analysis for some Egypt entities
    • Run Currency Revaluation Local / Group & related analysis
    • Receiving & Booking accrual and re-class Entries
    • Tax Entries Booking
    • Handling Litigation provision (Follow up, review & booking, analysis) & other provisions
    • Handling IFRS16 full process, accounting treatments, analysis & notes package
    • Perform investment analysis
    • Perform accrual analysis
    • Perform other payable/Receivable analysis
    • Perform deposits accounts analysis
    • Perform dividends analysis
    • Perform Additional tasks assigned by general accounting team lead
    • Perform equity reconciliation and approve it from team lead, Financial controller and CCFO.
    • Perform Suspense Accounts Recs (Technical Accounts)
    • Perform other G/L accounts analysis
    • Perform SG&A analysis
    • Handling VAT reconciliation
    • Handling needed tax requirements with Tax team
    • Handling tax notes requirements with Tax team
    • Perform manual reconciliation for all entities and review it with team lead and financial controller
    • In both hard close activities and year end support in studying all receivable accounts and check if there is any need to form provisions

 

 

Fixed assets

 

    • Record additions
    • Record retirements
    • Run Depreciation of Fixed assets on a monthly basis
    • Follow up Construction in progress on a timely manner
    • Perform CIP analysis
    • WBS Settlement
    • CIP Register checking negative balances
    • Perform fixed assets reconciliation
    • Handling CIP & fixed assets register
    • Prepare fixed assets reports & disclosures MEC Activities:
    • Perform general accounting MEC process with respect to deadlines Internal and External Audit Processes:
    • Handling all external audit requirements with all business different parties
    • Follow up on pending audit requirements on a timely manner with different business parties & external audit team
    • provide internal and external audit requirements

 

 

 

 


 

 

 

 

 

Education, Qualifications & Experience

Education:

  • Bachelor Degree – Accounting /Finance.

 

Skills:

  • Financial Analytical Skills.
  • Excellent English Language.
  • Excellent Microsoft office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
  • Problem Solving
  • Excellent command of using SAP
  • Good Communication and Presentation Skills

Experience:

3- 4 Years of experience in accounting.
