RMX Driver Coach

Job Purpose

 

  • Manage the entire scope of operations in RMX Batch Plant in the most effective manner to ensure the company meets its operational targets.

Key Responsibilities

 

1-Health & Safety: 

  • Adhere to and enforce relevant legislation and policies and ensure that the highest degree of safety and safe working practices are maintained.

 

  • Ensure full compliance with Lafarge safety standards and promote safety culture and safe practices among the entire work force.
  • Ensure all BP employees are operating in a safe working environment.
  • Ensure that all employees and contractors follow Health Safety Rules.
  • Conduct VPC and direct other key members in the company to do the same.
  • Lead investigations in major safety incidents.
  • Stopping unsafe acts.
  • Achieve Annual Health and safety personal objectives.
  • Weekly BOG Targets : TIF 50/ Month -  5 VPC Report / Month On road safety  - 5 Hazds/month on Road safety.

2-Functional: 

  • Conduct weekly Defensive Driving training sessions for both new and existing RMX drivers to ensure compliance with company road safety standards.
  • Review and coordinate medical examination results with company doctors to confirm drivers’ fitness for duty.
  • Ensure all hiring and onboarding processes for new drivers are properly implemented in line with company procedures.
  • Monitor and follow up on new drivers’ attendance, engagement, and performance after training completion.
  • Coordinate with the LCE team regarding issuance of driver cards for drivers who successfully complete the required training.
  • Follow up on monthly In-Vehicle Monitoring System  (Itqan) site visits in coordination with Driver Supervisors to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Manage the Drivers ID Keys process across all operational sites.
  • Promote driver awareness and provide feedback related to driving behavior, including harsh braking, rapid acceleration, and other unsafe driving practices.
  • Conduct weekly truck inspection & audit visits to analyze critical vehicle defects and monitor Road Safety (RS) performance according to the inspection schedule.
  • Track and manage refresher training requirements and completion status for existing drivers.
  • Participate in road incident investigations and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of road safety campaigns and awareness initiatives.
  • Prepare and submit weekly reports covering observations, inspections, training activities, and overall road safety performance.

 

Education

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

  • Commercial Technical Institute.
  • Certified Defensive Driving Training by Ageide.

 

Technical Skills:

  • Truck Mixer Driver.

 

Experience:

  • 1.5 years relevant experience in concrete plant.
