Electrical Maintenance Planning Lead

Job Purpose

 

  • Apply maintenance methodology, defining operational steps, manpower, spares and other resources necessary to achieve efficient and safe maintenance in line with technical standards and manage and improve the use of management tools, procedures and methodologies for maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

 

1-Health & Safety:

  1. Adhere to and enforce relevant legislation, as well as the Company's HSE Policies, Rules, and Standards.
  2. Ensure the highest degree of safety and safe working practices are maintained at all times.
  3. Follow all HSE Procedures, both Management and Operational.
  4. Commit to gain all HSE competencies and capabilities relevant to the job role, as outlined in the country HSE training matrix (mandatory for the position or required based on the individual's activities).

2-Functional:

  1. Define the detailed methodology for carrying out all the jobs according to priorities, and the required resources, skills coordination and supervision.
  2. Ensure that all the necessary materials for electrical equipment are available for the planned operations and meet the required quantity and quality.
  3. Prepare time and cost estimates for work orders and job plans to help optimizing resources allocation.
  4. Formalize and update detailed job-plans for maintenance operations (technically and/or financially), record and analyze technical documentation for all electrical equipment.
  5. Draw up regular inventories of the spare parts and ensure their availability in co-ordination with the warehouse taking in consideration financial and maintenance requirements.
  6. Maintain and update information and data in the CMMS, taking into account execution feedbacks.
  7. Draw up the technical specifications for the purchase of the electrical spare parts to maintain good condition of plant equipment.
  8. Lead the preparation and consolidation of the shutdown Planning (Personnel, Spares, Third party services, Tools, Equipment, Time and Critical Path).
  9. Control the expenses during work planning as well as work execution according to the approved budget.
  1. Control the inventory Level Versus the guide value.
  1. Contribute to planning and purchasing of CAPEX and third-party services: identify needs, provide technical requirements, support tendering, and provide input for supplier qualification and evaluation.
  1. Monitor / Recording equipment replacement and Equipment condition
  1. Follow up the weekly maintenance KPIs as well as work scheduling confirmation for Week N+1

 

Education

 

 

 

 

Qualifications & Experience

     Education:

  • BSC degree in Electrical Engineering.

 

Technical Skills:

  • Cement Background
  • Technical Reporting
  • Good planning skills & good knowledge of maintenance operations.
  • Technical knowledge of preventive, predictive and systematic maintenance (databases, CMMS, Project Software)
  • Computer literacy 

 Experience:

  • 5 – 10 years of experience, preferably in cement industry.
