Job Purpose

  • Ensure completion of electrical maintenance jobs with the highest level of safety, quality and effectiveness at minimum cost to maximise equipment availability and Apply preventive and predictive maintenance practices, and contribute to their improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Health & Safety:

  • Adhere to and enforce relevant legislation, as well as the Company's HSE Policies, Rules, and Standards.
  • Ensure the highest degree of safety and safe working practices are maintained at all times.
  • Follow all HSE Procedures, both Management and Operational.
  • Commit to gain all HSE competencies and capabilities relevant to the job role, as outlined in the country HSE training matrix (mandatory for the position or required based on the individual's activities).

Functional:

  • Manage, Develop and implement maintenance plans, policies and procedures with corporate Production strategy in order to ensure effective support for maintenance and production, the execution and quality of maintenance work to be carried out on equipment according to planned work orders to support the achievement of production objectives.
  • Define & validate team IDP with regular follow up with needed support to enhance skills and performance.
  • Execute the weekly & planned shutdown schedule for his area and necessary assignments of resources at team level with scheduler coordination, using best available tools and procedures in order to maximize equipment availability and support the control system configuration to optimize the operation process.
  • Ensures, upon completion of repairs for Electrical equipment , that are in good operating condition and as standard, ready to meet operational requirements, fully inspected, tested, clean and safe
  • Takes adequate actions when Electrical incidents occur in his area (undertake emergency repairs or corrective actions).
  • Contributes in his area, to the development of working execution and definition of procedures and ensures their implementation.
  • Report for repairing  jobs including as consumption of materials, tools, man hours and skills, and support with dates the filling of equipment history files.

 

Education

 

 

 

 

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

  • Bachelor of Electrical Engineering

 

Technical Skills:

  • Background in Electrical & power maintenance operation, Moderate background of control systems and drives, Knowledge of industrial process, knowledge of Local Safety rules and regulations, computer literacy
  • Strong technical knowledge of safety precautions, maintenance management, production process, product quality control, troubleshooting, planning, analytical skills, RCA process, Cement product.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret plans, specifications, contract documents, control drawings, service bulletins, technical procedure manuals, equipment specifications, and governmental regulations

 

Experience:

  • 2 – 5 years of experience in power and Electrical equipment, preferably in cement industry.
