Operational Developer

Job Purpose

 

  • Within the framework of the Geocycle strategy, take charge of the deployment and implementation of the maintenance policy for the Geocycle activity (all platforms), providing support and technical expertise to guarantee maximum equipment availability and the long-term sustainability of the production tool while respecting performance indicators in terms of Health & Safety, quality of execution and maintenance cost.

Key Responsibilities

 

1-Health & Safety:

  • Develop a Health & Safety culture by demonstrating strong personal leadership in this domain.
  • Promote effective use of the Group Health & Safety Management System and strict adherence to standards.
  • Contribute to strengthening the Health & Safety culture of suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Eliminate all Health & Safety anomalies/risks linked to equipment maintenance or the production tool.
  • Conduct risk analyses (JSA — Job Safety Analysis) and implement the necessary measures to control them.

 

2-Functional:
 

  • Collaborate with the Operational Development Manager to define and implement the operational development strategy for Geocycle platforms.
  • Develop and execute performance assessment programs for Geocycle platforms and external suppliers, including scheduled site visits to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Identify, evaluate, and propose operational optimization initiatives to improve the performance, efficiency, and reliability of all platforms.
  • Develop technical solutions to enable the safe and efficient handling of new alternative fuel products, including both liquid and solid materials.
  • Lead and participate in platform improvement and upgrade projects to enhance operational performance, safety, and process efficiency.
  • Support the commissioning and start-up of new platforms, ensuring compliance with health, safety, operational procedures, and performance standards.
  • Provide on-site coaching, guidance, and technical training to operations teams during platform commissioning and start-up activities.
  • Design, implement, and deliver a structured training program for supervisors across all Geocycle platforms to strengthen operational capabilities and standardize best practices.
  • Consolidate, monitor, analyze, and challenge platform performance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) , including costs, throughput volumes, productivity, and operational efficiency, and recommend corrective actions where required.

 

  • Provide technical and operational support to Platform Managers as needed to ensure stable and efficient platform operations.
  •   Monitor, maintain, and update all operating permits and regulatory approvals for Geocycle platforms, ensuring full compliance with applicable legal and environmental requirements.

 

Education

 

 

 

 

Qualifications & Experience

 Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.

 

Technical Skills:

Production operations, Industrial wastes handling, Basics of computer skills (Microsoft office).

 

Experience:

  • 3-5 years in operations & production.
