Lubrication & CBM Lead

Job Purpose

 

  • Improve Plant Reliability & Availability by detect early signs of equipment degradation and prevent catastrophic failures and unplanned shutdowns. Contribute to achieving maximum long-term availability and reliability in compliance with H&S regulations.
  • Optimize Maintenance Costs by Shift maintenance from reactive or time-based to predictive and Extend equipment life and reduce spare parts consumption.
  • Establishes cost-effective routine measurements tasks carried out at predetermined intervals to check the equipment condition, to reduce probability and/or impact of a failure in operation, or to maintain a desired level of performance of the equipment to perform the main and secondary functions.
  • Establish CBM Strategy & Leadership by define and lead the plant’s CBM program, identify critical assets and appropriate monitoring techniques and set CBM standards, KPIs, and reporting systems.
  • Support Production Continuity and sustainability by ensure critical assets operate within safe and optimal conditions and minimize production losses due to mechanical failures.
  • Promote the Holcim maintenance management system and support the application of maintenance procedures, methods, and best practices within the team.
  • Collect failure data and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve equipment reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and maintenance execution, to drive the implementation of best practices in reliability and asset management.

Key Responsibilities

 

1-Health & Safety:

  • Ensure adherence to relevant legislation, as well as the company's HSE Policies, Rules, and Standards within the team.
  • Lead by example to maintain the highest degree of safety and safe working practices at all times.
  • Implement Lafarge Safety Standards and Integrate safety into all maintenance operations and ensure working conditions and safety at work (Lafarge employees and contractors).
  • Follow all HSE Procedures, both Management and Operational.
  • Commit to gain all HSE competencies and capabilities relevant to the job role, as outlined in the country HSE training matrix (mandatory for the position or required based on the individual's activities).

2-Functional:

 

  • Follow up routine vibration measurements routes
  • Vibration spectra and time wave forms analysis for measured plant equipment to identity the current equipment condition and defects if exists and its progress.
  • Balancing the rotating equipment which has unbalance.
  • Laser alignment check for main process fans and critical equipment.
  • Follow up routine lubrication activities’ routes.
  • Follow and control the annual lubrication budget.
  • Follow up and control OCR (Oil Consumption rate) on monthly basis.
  • Follow up oil analysis routes.
  • Analysis the oil analysis’ results to identity the equipment and oil conditions and define defects and follow its deterioration if it exists
  • Creation of maintenance notifications with sufficient description for assigned work center with defined actions to increase equipment reliability.
  • Creation of maintenance notifications with defined Prioritize and dates to support planning and spare parts purchasing.
  • Participate in RCA meeting of repetitive or long time failures and plan corrective actions

 

Education, Qualifications & Experience

     Education:

  • Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering.

 

Technical Skills:

  • Strong technical knowledge of safety precautions, maintenance management, SAP, MMS, production process, product quality control, troubleshooting, planning, analytical skills, RCA process, ISO, Cement product.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and motor circuits, gearboxes, transmissions, welding techniques, lubrication, nondestructive tests and general mechanics.
  • Knowledge of MAC (Maintenance Cement), ACS, PMA and Cost.
  • Local Safety rules and regulations. Knowledge of quality management methods (ISO 9002).
  • Knowledge of cement process.
  • Computer literacy and CMMS.

 

    Experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience in maintenance cement plant.
  • 3 Years’ experience with definition and implementation of preventive maintenance programs and routines and Condition Based Monitoring (CBM).
