Engineer - Shift Quarry & Crushers

Job Purpose

manage the quarry operation and Crushers & Mixing bed process to achieve safety environment, lab target and storage capacity either Raw mix storages or additives.

Key Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities:

  • Health & Safety:
  • Adhere to and enforce relevant legislation, as well as the Company's HSE Policies, Rules, and Standards.
  • Ensure the highest degree of safety and safe working practices are maintained at all times.
  • Follow all HSE Procedures, both Management and Operational.
  • Commit to gain all HSE competencies and capabilities relevant to the job role, as outlined in the country HSE training matrix (mandatory for the position or required based on the individual's activities)

 

  • Functional:

 

  • Implement mining plan of our department, monitoring and supervise the work and the results on frequently basis "Daily, Weekly and Monthly” to detect and proceed our department budget.
  • Prepare mobile equipment to implement crusher’s operation plan according to storage needs.
  • Monitor clays piles operation.
  • Prepare mobile equipment to stack additive materials according to additive storage needs.
  • Manage achieving quality control targets for raw mix and limestone additives.
  • Manage the relationships among the other departments and co-ordination to be acting as a key interface in the production process in order to support the achievement of raw material production objectives.
  • Monitor and manage contractors’ performance in order to ensure the performance quality achieved and the safety policy applied.
  • Implement as appropriate policy and procedure improvements for operation team in order to insure the highest performance level.
  • Implement mobile equipment FLI
  • Follow Up mobile equipment condition & Co-operate with service support team to keep the equipment in a good performance.
  • He is responsible for the crushers’ production which includes pre-homo raw mixture, High Grade, and all additives in the mixing bed area.
  • Coordinate with lab about the types of crushed materials and additives and location of crushed materials storage
  • Follow up the quantity of crushed materials and coordinate with quarry team  if there is any change for the type of materials or additives
  • Coordinate with the clinker production team to manage and control the storages and mixing bed area
  • He is responsible for the crushers’ Safety  includes pre-homo raw mixture, High Grade, and all additives in the mixing bed area.

 

 

Education, Qualifications & Experience

 

Education:  Education: B.Sc., Science, Mining and Metallurgy, Engineering, Geology

 

Technical Skills:  Strong and highly understanding knowledge of mining and geology.

 

Experience: 3 years’ experience in the mining and quarries activities.
