The Role I Purpose & Key Accountabilities
The Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist plays a pivotal role in fostering a continuous learning culture in our company. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating learning programs and initiatives that enhance employee capabilities, drive performance and engagement, and align with strategic business objectives.
- Conduct learning needs assessments to identify skills gaps, development opportunities, and training requirements across various departments and employee levels.
- Develop and implement learning solutions, using blended approach (classroom, virtual, digital) for a variety of training needs & categories.
- Leverage learning technologies (LMS, e-learning tools, virtual platforms) to deliver scalable and accessible learning solutions across different geographical locations. Stay informed about emerging L&D technologies, methods and trends.
- Manage training data, prepare L&D reporting, follow-up key metrics and KPI’s, evaluate training effectiveness evaluations via feedback assessments to optimize programs continuously.
- Contribute to the management of the L&D budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing the return on investment for training initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including HR Business Partners, department managers, and senior leadership, to ensure L&D initiatives are aligned with business priorities and actively supported.
- Identify, select, and manage relationships with external training providers and vendors. Facilitate effectively training sessions and workshops.
- Work closely with international L&D team at Group level to ensure consistency and best practice sharing in L&D initiatives across all operations.
- Champion a culture of continuous learning, self-development, and knowledge sharing throughout the organization. Promote the value of L&D to employees at all levels.
The Profile I Background & Competencies
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Education or a related field. Master's degree or MBA are a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a dedicated Learning & Development role, preferably within an international environment.
- Knowledge of learning technologies and platforms (LMS – SAP SuccessFactors/ Percipio, Authoring tools – Articulate) will be a strong asset.
- Fluency in English
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite
