The Senior Consolidation Competence Center Manager drives the monthly &quarterly reporting from a consolidation perspective in close collaboration with the Senior Internal Financial reporting Manager and the Senior External Financial Reporting Manager. The Senior Consolidation Competence Center Manager is focused on providing technical support andguidance to Corporate functions and Countries related to the application of IFRS and Holcim accounting principles, internal processes and procedures.

 

Your responsibilities:

 

  • You supervise the monthly consolidation and ensure the delivery of consistent, high quality Consolidated Financial Statements in a timely manner
  • You supervise the Consolidation presentations to Senior Management
  • Ensure with the support of the Senior Consolidation and transactions Manager proper compliance with IFRS for internal and external reporting
  • Strong partnering with business service centers and the countries particularly providing functional support and subject matter expertise.
  • Collaborate with corporate functions, notably Treasury and Tax to ensure the reliability of all indicators.
  • Preparation of the Consolidated Financial Reporting (PnL, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow) consistent with Group policies and aligned with Group segment organization, providing full transparency, prompt and reliable metrics to management Perot Museum of Nature and Science, USA
  • Gain understanding of the business to provide relevant analysis of the current financial reporting to the management.
  • Support the yearly review and update of the Holcim internal control
  • Actively support the implementation of changes in SAP FC, notably to ensure that the system is compliant with the new standards
  • Other ad-hoc projects as defined by management
  • Support the continuous professionalization of the Senior Consolidation Competence Center Manager
  • Finance talent management and succession plans developed and maintained (if applicable)

 

Your Profile:

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

  • Business School or University equivalent, preferably with a master’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  • CPA/ACCA or equivalent degree (e.g. federal diploma) is a must
  • Preferably around 10 years‘ experience in external audit, consultant firms or in the reporting department of an international Group
  • Big4 experience
  • English as base working language. Additional languages highly appreciated (German considered as a plus)
